Yes — accountant access is free and unlimited. They can view, comment, export, or do your MTD filing on your behalf. They can’t see your settings or your card details.
You don’t need to be. I handle MTD for Income Tax — which is the bit HMRC’s rolling out for self-employed people earning over £50k (then £30k, then £20k). MTD for VAT is also supported if you’re over the threshold.
Yours, fully. Export everything as CSV or PDF and your receipts. Cancel and you can take everything you have done with you. I will keep a record for 7 days in case you change your mind, then it’s permanently deleted. Details on the Trust Centre.
